![]() Lake Ianthe looking south from SH6 I was on my way home from town the other night when I stopped to admire the sun setting over lake Ianthe. It was one of those still clear chilly nights, the sun has all but gone, your breath is steaming and your nose is cold and you know that when you wake up tomorrow the world will be frosty white, but the day is still to good to turn your back on. Anyway there I was in the gloom walking down to the lake edge when I was almost violently sick. Some person had taken a cr*p right on the path to the lake and I almost stood in it!! Of course it might have been a wild deer, if wild deer use toilet paper .. Now I am the first to admit that when you got to go you got to go, but there are public toilets 200 metres down the road! Granted they don't have the same great view or such an unlimited supply of fresh air, but on the other hand using the toilets wouldn't induce nausea in the next person to stop. Needless to say, I didn't linger that night, my pretty view spoilt by someones stupidity.
